
Ngoc Ngo is a Chicago-based freelance artist with a visual development, animator, and narrative repertoire. Her continuing passion is visual storytelling that establishes emotional connections in worlds that are unique but familiar to the reader—illuminated in warm landscapes and nostalgia. She is a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA focusing in Animation.
Her recent position was as an animator for the LA TIMES, clean-up, and colorist for the LXia Spark Animation Grant, sponsored by Netflix. It was screened at the Los Angeles Latino Internation Film Festival (LALIFF). Ngoc was also a clean-up and colorist for "Follow Me" Five Nights at Freddy's Music Video and an animator for an indie Chicago-Afro music artist for his Music Video, "Frontline Baby."
She also has a background in comics and it is currently has an ongoing webcomic on TApas and Webtoon Canvas with 140k+ Readers during her college year and it is still ongoing with 81 episodes. not only that but Before Ngoc started her animation career, she worked as a graphic design artist for 7 years while she was pursuing a Bachelor of fine art in animation. She was head of the graphic design marketing team, responsible for the design and look of products and branding. She is also experienced in photo editing, photo bash, and print production.
